Every common US men’s and women’s shoe size next to its UK, EU, and centimetre equivalent, plus the full AAA–EEE width scale — generated directly from the same Shoe Size Converter and Width & Fit Guide calculators above, not a separate hand-typed table.

How to read these tables together
Length and width are two independent measurements that combine to describe a full fit. The size tables above answer "how long is my foot, expressed in whichever system a retailer uses" — find your measured centimetre figure (or a size you already know) in the men’s or women’s table and read across for every equivalent at once. The width table answers a completely separate question: "how wide is my foot relative to its own length," which is why the same width letter can apply to a small foot and a large one — what matters is the ratio, not the absolute measurement.
Used together, the two tables cover what a size number alone can't: two feet can share a US 9 length and still need different width letters, and a shoe that's the "right" size in length but the wrong width will still feel off. Measure both, check both tables, and treat the result as a strong starting point — individual brands cut shoes on their own lasts, so always confirm against a brand's specific chart when it's available.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these numbers the same as the Shoe Size Converter and Width & Fit Guide?
Yes — every row on this page is generated by calling the exact same convertShoeSize() and widthClass() functions the two calculators use, not a separately maintained table. If you enter a size from this table into the Shoe Size Converter, or a ratio from the width table into the Width & Fit Guide, you'll get the identical result.
Why do the men's and women's tables use different UK and EU offsets?
Men's and women's shoe sizing were standardized against different reference lasts, so each has its own fixed offset to UK and EU sizing rather than sharing one. That's also why the same foot length in centimetres can correspond to a different-looking size number depending on which gender's sizing system you're reading it against.
What do the width letters in the second table actually represent?
Each letter is a band of the ball-of-foot girth expressed as a percentage of foot length, running from AAA (narrowest, around 28%) to EEE (widest, around 43%) in even steps. D is the conventional standard/medium width for men's shoes and B is the conventional standard/medium width for women's shoes.
My measured foot length isn't on the size table — what do I do?
The size table shows common half-sizes for readability, but the underlying conversion is continuous. Use the Shoe Size Converter directly and enter your exact measured length in centimetres to get a precise, unrounded conversion rather than reading between two rows here.
General reference only, not a professional fitting or medical assessment. Sizing varies by brand and last — always check the brand’s own chart before buying.
